Nashville-based South for Winter fuses elements of folk, blues, gypsy, and jazz into their latest upcoming release, "Ten Black Crows"

South for Winter formed as a trio in 2017 by New Zealander Nick Stone, Coloradan Dani Cichon, and Michigander Alex Stradal, South for Winter hit the ground running as a band - releasing two EPs, completing a 15-state national tour, and finishing an international tour to Canada within their first year. Nominated in 2018 as a rising artist by Nashville's top independent radio station and in 2019 as an Emerging Artist at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, South for Winter are now recording their debut album in Nashville with Grammy-nominated producer Matt Leigh.
