Jenn Bostic Discovers Her Roots with Newest Album Release

Jenn Bostic has steadily built herself a niche in the British music scene. Having started out with a soft Christian contemporary sound she has dabbled with elements of country, pop, and blues over the course of her first three albums. With that, Jenn has released a single "Faint of Heart" of her recent album, Revival.

""Faint of Heart" is my favorite song I've ever written. It is the vulnerable, honest feelings I have had as an independent artist and entrepreneur over the last decade. Chasing a dream comes with so many obstacles and moments of doubt, but I believe it’s important to commit to your calling and keep circling the mountain in front of you."

Bostic began in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but unfolded in Waconia, Minnesota, where her family shred the love of music. Jenn's dad played the accordion in the ensemble, Traveled Ground. At 16, the group invited her to sing background vocals for their first album.

"Music has always been a big part of my life. When I was ten years old, my dad passed away in a car accident, and songwriting became the therapy that got me through that traumatic experience. The first time I sat down at a piano after losing my dad, I had this sense of peace while playing. I knew in that moment it was meant to be a big part of my story."

Being a female in the industry can be rough at times, however Jenn isn't afraid to stand her ground and showcase her abilities.

"There is a season for everything. The world can pressure us to believe there’s a perfect time to get married, or have children, as well as opinions about how your life should look once those life changes happen, however only you know what’s best for you. Listen to that still small voice inside you and don’t let anyone tell you any different."
