Dear Hate: Love's Gonna Conquer All

Events throughout this past few days have impacted, damaged, and hurt the citizens and people in our country. We find our darkest days as we remember all the innocent people who lives were taken. We find light and hope because of the volunteers and first responders lending their hands and services. As a nation, we are not going to letting hate win.

On September 30th, 2017 a gunman opened fire at the Route 91 Harvest festival in Las Vegas killing many people and injuring hundreds more. Maren Morris performed at the Route 91 Harvest festival on Saturday night, the day before the tragic incident took place. Shortly after the incident, Maren Morris released a recorded a song called "Dear Hate" featuring Vince Gill. All profits are being donated to the Music City Cares Fund.

"Dear Hate" is a stripped down eye-opening song with Morris and Gill pure singing and acoustic guitars. "Dear hate, I saw you on the news today. Like a shock, it takes my breath away." Morris sings, telling the song in a form of a letter. "Dear Hate" ends on a note of empowerment, with vocals in unison, "Love's gonna conquer all".

From The Music Update Central Team, we send our condolences to the families of the victims and prayers to the injured.
