Sleep Nation Releases New Single, 'Scream & Shout'

Hailing from Music City, Sleep Nation releases new single, "Scream & Shout," available everywhere today. Sleep Nation has shared the stage with national tour acts Adema and Sponge. They will be releasing their sophomore EP later this year.

"Scream & Shout" was born out of some trying times in Sleep Nation history. The original riff was created when the drummer and I were just jamming together, just the two of us. We were so pumped about the sound of it and knew automatically it would go great in a song. The sound was something a crowd could get into instantly. Our dreams were crushed when a former bandmate didn't like it at all and told us it sounded boring... He didn't last long after that. My ears and intuition proved true the first time we played live. The crowd loved it. They still love it. So, when anyone tells me I don't know what I'm doing when I write a song, I love to prove them wrong. The proof is in the pudding.
