Rising Singer/Songwriter JESSE LABELLE Chosen As A CMT NEXT UP NOW Artist This Week


NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 16, 2019) – Rising new singer/songwriter Jesse Labelle is a featured pick as a CMT Next Up Now artist with the video for his current single “Hey Rachel.” Click HERE. #cmtnextupnow “’Hey Rachel’ is a deeply personal song that was written to be shared with anyone who’s ever been heartbroken and lost, or hopefully in love and found,” Labelle tells CMT of the song. “I wanted the video to be as true to the song as possible, so as a result we filmed these scenes in downtown Nashville on Broadway in the very places that inspired the lyrics themselves.” Labelle is ridinga career high after playing some of country music’s biggest festivals this summer including Country Stampede, Country Fan Fest and opening for artists such as Jason Aldean, Big & Rich, Granger Smith, Rodney Atkins and then the ultimate career high in realizing a dream opening for superstar Garth Brooks last month in Regina, SK, Canada. At the Garth stadium show he debuted a new song “Mystery” during his set to enormous crowd response. On October, Labelle will perform at Nashville’s highly-touted Whiskey Jam. The hottest rising new singer/songwriter continues touring in support of his current single “Hey Rachel” from his upcoming EP scheduled to be released later this year. Labelle has spent the last couple of years honing his skills and creating music in Nashville while making a name for himself around Music City as one of country music’s hottest new artists as he sold out venues all over his hometown of Nashville, TN including The Bluebird, Listening Room and as a regular at hot spot Ole Red. He has carried that over when he hit the road this summer and has been making huge impressions with fans and festival organizers on the road at some of the biggest country music festivals in the US including one of the largest Country Stampede sharing the bill with superstars like Jason Aldean. He attracted over 8,000 to the mainstage at Country Fan Fest in Utah to catch his performance.
