Restless Road Reveal Music Video for "One Step Ahead"

Country band Restless Road today debuted the official music video for their fan-favorite song “One Step Ahead." Directed by Alex Alvga, the steamy music video features the trio; Zach Beeken, Colton Pack and Garrett Nichols, and their respective real-life love interests, each recreating a version of their actual first dates. “One Step Ahead” is the latest release off of Restless Road’s self-titled debut EP, which was released earlier this year while on tour opening for Kane Brown’s WORLDWIDE BEAUTIFUL headlining arena tour.

“Bound to be a breakout act…” (Country Now), Restless Road announced their self-titled debut EP with Multi-platinum Entertainer Kane Brown on NBC’s “Today Show.” PopCulture, Young Hollywood, and CelebSecrets quickly highlighted the trio’s “flawless harmonies” (CMChat) and “...mix of modern and traditional country sounds…” (Sounds Like Nashville). The multi-instrumentalists and impressive vocalists also made waves as the opening act for Brown’s Worldwide Beautiful Tour, performing their first arena show with Brown at the STAPLES Center. Their single, “Take Me Home (With Kane Brown)” offered a “...fresh new take…” on the John Denver classic, and was featured on Radio Disney Country, and with a special acoustic performance at VEVO New York headquarters.

Restless Road’s charm rapidly gained traction with fans, after the trio posted a ‘One Margarita’ parody song about Taco Bell (HERE). The viral video surged immediately with thousands of fans rushing to their TikTok and Instagram accounts.

Restless Road’s self-titled debut EP released in Feb. and was produced by Dann Huff and co-producer by Lindsay Rimes (“One Step Ahead”). The trio co-wrote three of the four songs on their debut EP with a roster of hit-making collaborators. Coming a long way since their start on singing competition show, “The X Factor,” in 2013 (where they first met Brown), the trio moved to Nashville to pursue their music careers after the show. Tackling a set of challenges that included a short-lived label deal, a shift in band members and a brief hiatus, the band rebooted when Brown saw their cover performance of his song “Good As You,” and reached out to offer them an opening slot on his Worldwide Beautiful tour. Restless Road shared a video of their journey, here.
