Nick Isham releases new stunning music video for single "Just Because"

Los Angeles singer/songwriter, Nick Isham returns with a simple, yet stunning new video for “Just Because” a track from his 6-song EP called ‘a piece of me pt. 4’. It is Nick’s 2nd EP release of 2021. With continuous releases, Nick Isham is not only keeping his audience fed, but also is showing absolutely zero signs of slowing down. Putting his passion and dreams in the forefront, Nick is most definitely an independent artist you’re going to want to be on the lookout for.

Finding love for music at a very young age, and growing up in a musical household - with his father being an American Musician, and film composer, it was pretty much a no-brainer that Nick would grow up enjoying music. However, he grew up playing sports, and not necessarily working on music. It was only in 2020 when Nick began putting more time into music and into his passion. Now having more time to focus on music full time, he is consistently putting out music and focusing on that passion.

“Have you ever had a relationship end for no other reason than the fact that it just wasn’t right? I wrote this song last year with my co-writer Jack Conway. I came in with the phrase - ‘just because it’s good doesn’t mean that it’s right’. And told Jack about relationships I had been in that honestly didn’t really end badly in any way, no big arguments or anything… just simply not right. We talked for a while about it, and this song came about. “

“The music video for “Just Because” was awesome to create. I got to work with my brother, Jake Isham, as the director, a one-man film crew. He did everything from the cinematography to the editing! Also shout out to Vivienna Isham, Amanda Pieper, and Courtney Isham for all they did to help on this! Jake and I wanted to go for a very simple, yet bold look inspired by music video directors such as Director X and Hype Williams…" Isham states.

Isham continues,” Contrasting the natural, daylight shots in the verses, with the heavily lit, night shots, shot on anamorphic lenses, in the choruses. It was done for next to no money, all on our own. We built the stage used in the 2nd and 3rd chorus on our own, in our parent’s backyard with old wood scraps. All of this to say, it was a great experience, and we are excited to share this with you all!”

Nick has a lot more on the way, be sure to follow his journey on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Official Website.
