ICMA Bluegrass Artist of the Year Billy Droze Releases New Single "Waiting Out The Storm"

ICMA Bluegrass Artist of the Year BillyDroze, who is releasing his new single"Waiting Out The Storm"onMarch 27via hisRBR Entertainmentlabel. The former lead singer forShenandoahhas garnered more than10 No. 1singles as an artist and songwriter (Darryl Worley, Flatt Lonesome, Jamie O'Neal). Billy's latest single, "That'd Be You," feat. world-renowned guitaristTommy Emmanuel, topped the bluegrass charts three times.

The Lafayette, Louisiana-born singer/songwriter, who grew up in Alabama and Texas, first stepped on stage at an early age with his father, Bob Droze, a dedicated country, gospel, and Bluegrass musician. Soon after arriving in Nashville, Droze wrote or co-wrote songs for some of Music City's most respected artists, including “You Never Know” – Darryl Worley, “Free Again” – Shenandoah, “That’s Why I Run” – Billy Yates (#1 in Europe), “Sunday Clothes” – Randy Kohrs,”Big Pain” – Marty Raybon, “Bottle Was a Bible” – Junior Sisk, “Her Memory Again” (#5 Bluegrass Today Chart) – Flatt Lonesome, “Like I Do” – Jamie O’Neal, “I Know Better” (#1 Bluegrass Today Chart) – The Grascals, among others.
