Cody Purvis' "Drinkin' Terms" Hits Top-50 on Billboard Indicator
Country recording artist, Cody Purvis scored his first Top-50 single on Billboard's Indicator chart last week with his single, "Drinkin' Terms". Purvis, known by friends and around industry circles as "Big Country" due to his 6' 6" stature and matching behemoth baritone voice, is hard to ignore. Before graduating high school, and while splitting his time between Nashville and Virginia, Purvis was named "Entertainer of the Year" for his hometown of Charlottesville, won the local Colgate Country Countdown, and was signed for representation by the then prestigious agency, Buddy Lee Attractions. Now managed by Erv Woolsey Company (George Strait, Lee Ann Womack), Purvis appeared as a contestant last year on USA Network's "Real Country" featuring Travis Tritt, Shania Twain and Jake Owen.
