Bobby & Teddi Cyrus Release New Video in Support of Their Single, "My Wedding Day"

January 19, 2021 - Pinecastle Records is proud to release the new, Bobby & Teddi Cyrusvideo in support of their current single, "My Wedding Day." The video was shot in the historic, Old Pickens Presbyterian Church (dating back to 1840) in northwestern South Carolina and was produced by the Bonfire Music Group, with Ethan Burkhardt directing the video.

The song was written by Jimmy Sites and Jimmy Yeary, with Bobby Cyrus producing the track with, Don Rigsby. The song's about being accepted into heaven at the end of your life and uses a Wedding as the metaphor.

Bobby & Teddi's vocals are supported by an all-star band featuring Don Rigsby (mandolin), Justin Moses (dobro, fiddle, banjo), Mark Fain (bass) and Kenny Smith (guitar).

Bobby Cyrus is the cousin of Country music star, Billy Ray Cyrus, but credits his father, Bobby Glenn Cyrus as his inspiration when it came to songwriting and performing. “Music was a dream my dad aspired to, but never got to chase,” Cyrus reveals. “He chose to work and raise his four kids, and that in itself showed me what’s required of a man if he’s going to call himself a man. He encouraged and influenced me to do what I do, as well as to take care of my responsibilities. I learned to write songs by listening to his songs.”

Teddi and Bobby Cyrus married in 2015 and soon began to entertain the idea of recording together. Shortly after finishing their first project, they were signed to Pinecastle Records. They're both excited to get the music out there and see what the future holds for their career as a duo.
