NASHVILLE, TENN. - (September 18, 2019) – “Along The Way,” a new single co-written with Stephen McMorran and Belmont University graduate, Allie Colleen, is available for streaming and download on all digital platforms here.
"This song was inspired by my best friend, Emily, and was inspired by our distance and what it is like to love someone who you know needs to leave and grow up and explore," shared Allie Colleen. "We hope it encourages you to do some exploration of your own, we hope that you go out and you find all there is to find, and we hope that after all that, you realize that what you had before is worth coming back to. This song is about the courage to look for more and at the end of the day be happy with settling down with the one you love."
"The songs about loving someone without trying to control him or her. It’s about how love feels vulnerable and unconditional," co-writer, Stephen McMorran. "This is one of those songs open to interpretation by the listener as it applies to them."
Along the Way is all about loving a traveler, someone with an old soul, and a love for explanation. It is saying yes to the unknowns and focusing on the one thing that brings you together (love) opposed to the hundreds of things that could tear you apart.
