Review: James Barker Band Releases Highly Anticipated Single 'Keep it Simple'

With Canadian artists like Lindsay Ell and High Valley, The Great White North has become a hotbed for new country artists, including the James Barker Band, who just released their new single “Keep It Simple.”

This isn’t the first release by the four-piece Ontario group, who released their seven track EP Game On and “Good Together,” a single released in 2018. This upbeat track mixed with pop and twang has gained lots of traction in its first week since being released, including being added to the largest country playlist in the world; Hot Country which is featured on Spotfiy. They were also featured at Toronto’s Eaton Centre on the billboard, at unforgettable moment for the group.

James Barker Band is slated to join the stage with artists like Russell Dickerson, Old Dominion, and Tenille Townes at Rocks the Park in July as well as the coveted Country to Country Festival which takes place in London.
