Adam Hambrick is Rockin' Us All Night Long
We had a chance to talk with Adam Hambrick. When his pitch sheet came in from his press team everyone wanted to jump on the opportunity to talk with Adam. If you do not know who this young man is, let us lay out the resume he has built since landing in Nashville from his home roots of Arkansa and Corinth, MS.
We asked Adam where his musical roots came from and without hestiation he launched into growing up and sharing music with his family in church. Most specifically he shared that his mother was a songwriter and she wrote songs that were shared in worship. So in essence music is in his blood line. He spent his youth singing in church, musical theater and he penned his first song in the fourth grade. He stated he was always supported by his family and community. When asked about his musical influences growing up I was sure that I would be writing about a kid who grew up inspired by Garth, Travis, Mark Chestnut, Trisha and Alan Jackson which he was...but then he threw me a curve ball and shared his ecclectic inspiration from the Foo Fighters, Third Eye Blind and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. His diversity is one of the reasons he has landed himself cuts and #1 hits with Dan + Shay (“How Not To”) and Justin Moore (“Somebody Else Will”).
Justin Moore discovered Adam when he appeard on Good Morning Arkansas in 2011. Justin Moore happened to be watching and was impressed by Adam’s unique voice and distinctive songs. Soon after, Justin’s producer Jeremy Stover reached out opening the door for Adam to move to Nashville and pursue music full-time. Adam has written a multitude of songs and had numerous cuts for other artists including Miranda Lambert and Eli Young Band while performing live with artists including Brett Young, Jordan Davis, LANCO, and more. Adam released his debut single “Rockin’ All Night Long” this past October and is currently in the studio working on his debut album with producers Andrew DeRoberts (James Blunt, Miley Cyrus) and Paul DiGiovanni (Blake Shelton, Jordan Davis).
We asked Adam the inspiration behind his debut song "Rockin' All Night Long" and he said when he was a kid, 17 years old running around at night having fun it was great and now as an adult, married with a child the fun times have given him a new perspective on mature fun. Times change!
When asked what is on his bucket list.. he said "Garth!", I would love to pen a song for Garth Brooks. If I were to get asked to do CMT Crossroads.. well I would want to share the stage with Dave Grohl. I don't see why that won't happen, this young man is a force in this industry and he has been making his presence known. Now signed to Capitol Records Nashville / Buena Vista Records’ his primary focus is on his music. Rockin' All Night Long is available on all digital outlets with a new release this Friday “All You, All Night, All Summer”, written by Adam Hambrick, Pete Good, and AJ Babcock. Adam will be appearing in London at the C2C Country Festival and Stage Coach as well as other tour dates.
