Review: Rändi Fay Reminds Us of the True Meaning of Christmas with her New Single, 'Joy Whispere

Rändi Fay gets us in the Holiday spirit with her new single, “Joy Whispered.” She has this soft tone in her voice that tells the story of the nativity scene beautifully. There’s certain Christmas songs that you could hear anywhere, and this is one of them. This is a song that I could see being played in a church choir and at Christmas concerts. It has this appeal to many different listeners.

“Bewildered shepherds, mighty kings, joining hands they barely breathed.”

Rändi also released a lyric video to go along with the single. The video I thought was well put together, and fits perfectly with the vibe of this song; for the lyrics paints a picture of the nativity. Listening to the song, you can visually see and feel the excitement and magic of Christ the king born into the world.

While listening to “Joy Whispered,” I picture a quiet, snowy night, sitting by a fireplace, all cozied up next to your loved ones, as the kids fall sound asleep in your arms. This song reminds us of what Christmas is truly about. It’s not about the presents under the tree, but being together with family and/or loved ones by celebrating the birth of Christ the King.
