John Carter Cash: We Must Believe in Magic

Even before listening to his music, one could quickly figure out that he has natural talent when it comes to music by simply reading his name. John Carter Cash, son one of country music’s famed couples Johnny and June, is looking to continue the family tradition and making a name for himself with his new album We Must Believe in Magic.

This 17-track album is Cash’s first release in eight years and features an abundant collection of songs collected over the last ten years. The title of the album is very meaningful for Cash, who says “I remember believing in magic. I recall the wind in itself being alive and with a voice... It smelled awake, purposeful and spoke in a resounding tongue I perfectly understood. All was vast, open, dazzling and wondrous. I believe this to be the truth of the world......the magic is inside us all. And though it may be forgotten, it can be remembered once again... It is only up to us to do one single thing, and do it purely...believe.” The album was produced by Cash and engineered and mixed by Chuck Turner at the illustrious Cash Cabin Studios in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
