Review: Dela Kay Crushes Electronic Pop Boundaries with 'Deep Love'

Just in time for summer, Della Kay’s “Deep Love” crushes electronic pop boundaries. This slow-vibe feel and warm track elicits comparisons to Ellie Gould, Taylor Swift and even early Madonna.

Though her voice has a lovingly light feel to it – the Chicago-born, Nashville raised songstress’ resume includes musical theatre and it shows. Immediately likable and while this song might not stretch her range, Kay’s voice is confident and mature. Albeit the title includes just one ‘deep,’ as Kay sings ‘deep, deep love’ her subtle emotion and song command breathes in that extra ‘deep.’
