New York Native, Annika Grace is the Newest Addiction You Need

If you wander into any of the top indie venues in Los Angeles or New York, you may find Annika Grace behind a grand-piano, projecting her enchanting voice to the crowds. With her recent release "Kiss Me", her glowing voice immediately grabs you.

"I wrote kiss me about a night out in New York City. I remember going to this bar in the lower east side and realizing how hard it is to find someone who wants the same things as you in a relationship. In a city with so many different people and personalities, it's hard to find someone you can fully trust. 'Kiss Me' is my way of saying don't kiss me unless you know what you want and what you want is me. People like to play a lot of games these days, and that's just not me." expresses Grace. "My good friend Doug Walters produced it back in Los Angeles. I've worked with him for about a year now and every song we've recorded has been exactly the way I want it to sound."

Annika draws inspiration from many other lead females musicians including Halsey, Alessia Cara, and Billie Eilish. She is a huge supporter of female artists encouraging them to find their voices to shine.

"My main advice would be to be confident in yourself and what your talent. If you don't have confidence in yourself, no one else will. In the industry today, there is so much competition but if you just have faith in yourself and the music your creating, none of that will matter. Also I strongly believe you have to fail to succeed. My dad used to tell me "failure is the key to success" and that is definitely my motto in life."

Annika will be releasing a exclusive music video to accompany her single, "Kiss Me" in the near future. You can learn more about her on Instagram and YouTube.
