Sierra Black Gets Close and Personal with Release of 'Make It Easy'
One of the new rising stars in country music is singer/songwriter Sierra Black. She's forming her own path to create music that's inspiring and irresistible. Sierra released a beautiful new video for her single "Make It Easy" which is her way of opening up her private life to her loyal fans.
"My single Make It Easy means so much to me, because it’s about my husband. I wrote it before we were actually married, but the lyrics still stand true to how I feel," expresses Sierra. "I think the overall message is when you find your soulmate, it’s easy. That’s not to say that life won’t bring you challenges - but when you find the one, you can do anything."
The singer invited her husband, Ryan, to co-star with her in the inspiring and romantic video. The footage of them shows the lovely couple spending time together out in nature and footage from their wedding. The singer/songwriter used her single as part of their wedding video, which has been viewed more than 4 million times and earned more than 114,000 streams on Spotify.
Sierra and her husband Ryan met over a $100 bet between her and her best friend Sandra.
"We were at the NFR in Las Vegas, and we spotted my husband. He’s pretty easy on the eyes, and Sandra just said, “I’ll bet you a 100$ you won’t go say, 'hi.'" There were a couple sips of Coors Light involved - and next thing I knew, I was sitting next to him! The rest is history."
Black has been working with Nashville super-producer Mark Bright, whose credits include Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood. The Las Vegas native gave her first performance at age of 12. Shortly after building a thriving performing career, she joined Keith Urban onstage for a duet at a festival and even got to sing with Garth Brooks during a rehearsal.
She mixes her Vegas glamour and all-American appeal as something that makes her unique, and it's a mix that she isn't changing anytime soon. Black also encourages other females to be unique in the industry.
"Just to never give up. Rejection will make you stronger, but if you love what you do, that will keep you happy! Also, patience. Nothing worth having comes easy."
