Danielle Bradbery Releases Emotional Single + Video for 'Human Diary'
Danielle Bradbery releases raw, emotional, and highly relatable single "Human Diary" from her upcoming sophomore album, I Don't Believe We've Met.
Bradbery delivers an emotional single that I've personally never experienced yet in my life. However, while watching and listening to Danielle, I felt the emotions. I felt the heartbreak. I felt the lyrical hurt that carried throughout the lyrics. The song left me speechless and my emotions high.'
Written by Josh Kerr and Emily Weisband hit the heart with passionate lyrics, written as a letter to an ex-boyfriend. "You were my human diary," Bardbery sings, "so when you left, you didn't just leave. You take all my secrets with you.". The video accompanies the single by showcasing Bradberry wondering the floor of the bedroom that just happened to be the house for a happy couple. Now, it's just a lonely and heartbreaking home for one.
"I was immediately brought to tears when I first heard 'Human Diary,'" she tells Rolling Stone Country. "It's such a relatable song, and I really wanted to expose what I was feeling that day. Everyone knows what it feels like to put their trust in someone and then feel robbed when they walk away, so I feel like this is a perfect taste of what I was going for on this album – pure honesty."
Bradbery's ten-track album, I Don't Beleive We've Met arrives on December 1st. You can pre-order the album on digital platforms and instantly receive her first single off the album, Sway and the second single, Human Diary.
