Recently signed, Bar Frog Music artist Mark Bray is creating buzz with his debut single "For Love". Mark discusses the inspiration behind the debut, finding his voice for music, and dream vacations.

Thank you for chatting with Music Update Central! You just released your debut single "For Love". What’s the inspiration behind the single? This single, “ For Love” is just a fun song. It's lighthearted and doesn't take itself too seriously. Just like me! We felt that this would be the perfect way to introduce me to the world because the song does a great way of conveying my personality!

How would you describe your music? That's easy. I'm a 90's country kid! It's where I draw my inspiration. My music is 90’s country with a modern flair.

What inspired you to become a musician? There were so many factors. My parents exposed me to so many different forms of music that I couldn't help but fall in love with it. When I was in high school a few of my church friends, who I looked up to, had a band, so of course, I wanted to be like them and learn to play the guitar. As far as becoming a country musician? Garth Brooks was my inspiration. Hands down. When I was a kid, I wanted to be just like him. If I have to explain that one, well, you probably aren’t a country music fan. haha!

MUC Random Question: What's your dream vacation? I've always wanted to visit Japan. It's so different than any other place I've been to. The culture, the food, the people, all intrigue me!
