(September 16, 2019) – Rising new singer/songwriter Jesse Labelle is a featured pick as a CMT Next Up Now artist with the video for his current single “Hey Rachel.” Click HERE. #cmtnextupnow “’Hey Rachel’ is a deeply personal song that was written to be shared with anyone who’s ever been heartbroken and lost, or hopefully in love and found,” Labelle tells CMT of the song. “I wanted the video to be as true to the song as possible, so as a result we filmed these scenes in downtown Nashville on Broadway in the very places that inspired the lyrics themselves.” Labelle is ridinga career high after playing some of country music’s biggest festivals this summer including Country Stampede, Country Fan Fest and opening for artists such as Jason Aldean, Big & Rich, Granger Smith, Rodney Atkins and then the ultimate career high in realizing a dream opening for superstar Garth Brooks last month in Regina, SK, Canada. At the Garth stadium show he debuted a new song “Mystery” during his set to enormous crowd response. Following due to the overwhelming response from the fans Labelle released the song at all digital service providers and he saw his greatest career gains in his streaming numbers and social numbers with that release.
